There is no Evidence that Pets can spread Coronavirus

COVID-19 is a pandemic that has wrought havoc on the entire world. Most of the countries are affected by the virus. Italy has suffered the most number of deaths, and it still continues to suffer.

Like the COVID-19, other respiratory diseases have also become a pandemic in the past. One of them was SARS that took place in the middle eastern countries and had a 10% mortality rate. However, it wasn’t the scariest of diseases. MERS was a disease that had a lethality rate of 34%. It killed many people. But because it wasn’t easily communicable, the disease didn’t spread quickly.

COVID- 19, on the other hand, spreads quickly. But it does not spread through animals. That’s a wrong notion that must be changed. Pets do not transmit the disease. It is a myth that needs to be busted. Another myth regarding the coronavirus is it extremely cold weather or hot weather can kill the virus. That’s a wrong assumption on the part of people. Here is everything you need to know about coronavirus to clear your doubts.

The coronavirus can sustain high temperatures as well as low temperatures. It remains active in all types of weather. Other than these myths, people are also afraid of the goods shipped from China because the virus originated there. However, there is no reason to fear it because the shipping takes a long time, and the virus does not sustain that long.

There are many rumors and false news transmitted about the corona virus due to the panic. However, these are the few myths that needed to be busted. There is no evidence that pets can be the carrier of the disease. They may, however, have the disease, but they can’t be a carrier of it.
