Recently, the Ship Construction Division of The Sixth Engineering (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. of CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. earnestly followed the overall arrangements of the client unit, responded actively and cooperated closely, and safely and efficiently completed the demobilization towing task of the “Hanggongtong 1602” concrete mixing ship for the Xiamen–Kinmen Bridge project, winning high praise from the client unit with its rigorous construction organization, solid safety control and efficient work quality.
In the waters where the Xiamen–Kinmen Bridge (Xiamen section) is under construction, ships and machinery are dense, cross operations are numerous and the navigation environment is complex, with large hydrological and tidal variations, so the overall construction risk is high and control is difficult. To ensure that this towing operation was safe and controllable and proceeded smoothly, the Ship Construction Division planned ahead and directed from the front, repeatedly organized technical backbones to carry out on-site surveys, and, in light of the actual on-site working conditions, repeatedly demonstrated and optimized the special towing plan. By accurately selecting the operation route, scientifically making use of the tidal window and improving emergency support measures, it fully tightened safety management responsibility, building a solid guarantee for the smooth progress of the operation.
During the operation, all participating personnel strictly observed the safety management system and standardized operating procedures; with clear division of labour, close cooperation, standardized operations and in-place execution, they steadily controlled the work rhythm and strictly controlled safety risks throughout, and finally ensured that the “Hanggongtong 1602” concrete mixing ship completed its demobilization towing smoothly, safely and in an orderly manner, achieving zero hidden dangers and zero accidents throughout the operation.
The safe and efficient construction organization and the professional and solid contract performance of the Ship Construction Division were fully affirmed by the client owner: “The Ship Construction Division of the Sixth Company of CCCC Third Harbor Engineering is trustworthy and is our excellent service provider.”
As an important participating force in the key Xiamen–Kinmen Bridge project, the Ship Construction Division has repeatedly deployed its main ship and machinery equipment to support the project’s toughest tasks, making every effort to ensure the orderly progress of key construction milestones and providing strong support for the project’s sprint towards the goal of opening to traffic by the end of 2026.
This towing task fully demonstrated the Ship Construction Division’s outstanding offshore construction strength, mature safety control system and fine project contract performance style, further enhancing its brand image and market reputation in the field of offshore engineering construction and also laying a solid foundation for subsequent deeper cooperation and deeper cultivation of the regional market.
