Ways to promote an event on social media:

Following are some of the most trusted ways to make your event a huge success and its promotion a massive success as well. So let’s dig into it elaboratively:

1. Post a countdown

This is an impeccable way to attract your clients, potential customers, and viewers. By posting countdown on social media, you will be able to make your customers or followers aware of the event’s deadline. This will keep them engaged and they can pre-plan their participation in an event.

Similarly for event promotion, posting a countdown on Instagram or Facebook stories are the most reliable way since stories are never ignored by dedicated Instagram or Facebook users.

2. Create an event page

This is an important step that needs to be eaten by your social media strategist briskly. He should make an event page on Facebook and put all the necessary details on it including date, venue, guest speaker as well as SOPs details so that viewers can be well informed about the event.

Tagging the guest speaker’s official page will bring more viewers into consideration and their followers will be excited about this event too. Surely they will attend your event to hear from their favorite personality.

3. Post teasers

We all surely love Netflix teasers, do not we? Similarly make most of this strategy and post some teasers about your event on social media accounts all across including basic details yet not revealing everything at once. Since being mysterious is a key here.

You can be sharing highlights of interviews of your respective guest speakers as well to gain more audience. This will bring their followers to your event as well.Since everyone has a dream to meet and greet with their favourite influencer or personality.

4. Create a hashtag

Hashtags are the most effective tags out there quite effective and adorable than a lower price tag indeed. So bring creative hashtags in the game and commence leading the race all from the front. Make sure to use some gregarious and jolly hashtags since negative energy is already present in abundance out there. Hashtags are also very common in promoting event driven campaigns, because they help create a theme around your event.

Strive to encourage event planners and management team members to use these hashtags more and more so that they can be spread wide long all across the netizens.

However, probation of long or complex hashtags is included since long or tiring hashtags could be a complete burden on viewers so try to make some funny, lively, and tiny tiniest hashtags.

5. Host a giveaway

Social media giveaway contests are the most appropriate approach to boost your brand awareness. It helps to convert your followers to event attendees.

One should ask people to share a contest post from their respective accounts and use the hashtag to enter. After sharing, keep track of all the followers on your brand as well. This will give you a much broader reach, particularly for the price of a handful of free tickets or products.

Here one has to be specific about what is to give to its followers which will surely be adored by them. One can give away a vitamin C serum, a lavender body spray, or a fancy set of nail colors. Since these are the most likable product out there by youth. Indeed every day their sales are rising immensely. Hire a famous Instagram influencer for this and tag them which will ultimately bring more followers and event attendees.

6. Interview attendees

Who does not watch a red carpet interview? We all love to see different faces and hear different opinions. This is why we all take at least a few minutes to watch the highlights of red carpet interviews.

Similarly, follow the same and interview some fascinating attendees. Do not forget to upload their stories on Instagram. In this way, you will be able to make your event more approachable and friendly. This will give an outlook that you care for your followers and attendees. So people who were unable or hesitant to attend the event this time will surely be less hesitant to attend the event next time. So think for the long run too!

Final Thoughts

These above-mentioned strategies are the most effective yet simple to perform. IN FCAT THEY will surely help you to get more and more attendees or followers. However from your end just be creative and hopeful while building social media strategy for event promotion.

Moreover do not forget to ask for feedback since it will assist you greatly to make your next event a big hit certainly. Feedback could indeed be heart-wrenching or difficult to digest but remember one can not succeed without hardship.

On the other hand, if your event was a huge success already then strive to be better since being content from your past achievement is not a way of successful people. One has to move on not only from past bad experiences but as well as from past good experiences. As Steve Jobs quotes:

“I think if you do something and it turns out pretty good, then you should go do something else wonderful, not dwell on it for too long. Just figure out what’s next.”
