Everyone connects with music differently. Some find their peace in it, some see it as an escape, and some listen to it to have a good time. It has various effects on people and their minds. While many of us see it as a recreational tool or a hobby that relaxes the mind, there are people who use music as their source of living. Such people take music a notch higher and turn their passion into a profession. For them, music is just not melody or lyrics; it is rather a piece of art that needs to be refined and modified time and time again and presented to the world. Crowd Controlol is one such artist who believes in the magic of music and has come up with something unique to show the world.

Crowd Controlol is a Florida-based music producer, sound designer, and DJ who is classically trained for two decades  on violin, and mixes his classical knowledge with today’s contemporary rhythms of house and techno. He has trained for years in his art and deeply comprehends the effects of music on the mind and body. His interpretation ranges from warm connotations of dancefloor-driven tech house to sonic experiments in deeper, minimal techno. Starting in 2010, Crowd Controlol has come a long way and has established his name in the industry. He was a quick learner and grasped music concepts easily and swiftly. He debuted in the industry in 2011 with his album Lolwut signed with Club Traxx. This was a big deal as his career had just begun. Crowd Controlol started getting shows with musical giants such as Stefano Noferni, Nicole Moudaber, & Richie Hawtin, all of who are highly respected.

Crowd Controlol’s music has been appreciated and admired by many far and wide. It is solely due to his talent and hard work that his tunes are played worldwide at different record labels such as Whoyostro, Innocent Music, No Prese Records, Baile Musik, Draft, SOS records, and many others. The young talent is all about using the original sounds in house and techno and does not believe in sampling overused sounds. For this reason 2012, he started a residency at “One Night in Miami,” an after-hours sunrise held every Saturday on The Terrace at the Club Space. He is known to inspire people with his bouncy, dark, and provocative DJ sets that resonate with the sounds and beats of electronic music.

As he was slowly but surely climbing the ladder of success, Crowd Controlol began touring. In 2013 he visited Ibiza, Spain. Here he worked with the ENTER team and Richie Hawtin. Due to his friendly work relations with Hawtin Crowd Controlol got a chance to participate in the CNTRL 2.0 tour in 2015. The tour included artists such as Dubfire, Matador, Victor Calerone, Chris Liebing, and many more. Not only was this a great learning opportunity for Crowd Controlol, but it also gave him great exposure to the music world. Crowd Controlol has recently, played major gigs in Denver, Playa del Carmen, Cartagena, Costa Rica, Miami, and New York City. He has also had the privilege of performing Space Ibiza at Carl Cox’s final chapter in 2016 and played regularly at the famous Sankey’s Ibiza.

Crowd Controlol is a budding name in the music industry and is going strong with his events and unique studio productions. Crowd Controlol released a remix on Chile-based NOPRESET Records in 2021, which was a well received in the minimal scene. In the same year, in November, he collaborated with Josh Hamilton of SVVISH to create Dream, a sold-out rooftop experience on the rooftop of the Sidney & Berne Davis art museum in Fort Myers. The spectacular event witnessed local artists and excellent musicians come together in a single place.

The new talent, in a short span, has made his place in the music world. He continues to make more music and perform alongside top artists at different places around the world. He kick-started the year with a ground-breaking performance at the Bora Bora beach club at Cartagena in Colombia where he performed alongside vocalist Ukulore in the paradise of the Caribbean islands.
