To go beyond the limits of oneself is a journey that is not built for many people. Some individuals find it intimidating, and being in their comfort zone is a much safer place to be in. The same goes for venturing into a business.

Because of the number of risks that are often tied with starting and maintaining a business, several entrepreneurs go for what is familiar and what works. However, Dominic Ciccone, otherwise known as Dommy Divine, is no ordinary businessman.

Born in a small town called Pepperell, Massachusetts, Dommy Divine did not have everything handed down to him on a silver platter. With his resilience and perseverance, he first gained popularity through his clothing brand, Divine Minds. Celebrities were eventually seen wearing his pieces that Dommy’s name is no longer a stranger in the entertainment industry.

With a growing love for the music scene, he began organizing small-time concerts in warehouses and lounges. Because of the volume of people who went to his events, Dommy started organizing shows in arenas and theaters that could cater to over 3000 spectators. His continued success in the field caused him to move his craft to Los Angeles, where he effortlessly booked some of the most prominent artists from Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles. Because of this, his name has become a staple in the hip hop community.

Dommy’s first event traces back to 2014 in Nashua, New Hampshire. For his clothing brand’s first-year anniversary, he booked a function hall above a local bar and got one of his original brand partners, “Gardenz,” to DJ the event along with “DJ Rose.” And to further spice things up, he also asked an old friend, “Gio Dee,” to perform live. Over 150 people came to the event, and it was more than enough to warm his heart and lift his spirits. He was also really grateful to have his parents’ support. This inspired him to keep on going.

Following the success of his debut event, Dommy started hosting similar shows at Everett Hookah Lounge in Pelham, New Hampshire. He also began reaching out to artists who were patrons of his clothing line, and soon enough, he had them flying out to perform at his shows. With the overwhelming amount of exposure he was getting, Dommy then decided to upscale his shows into Boston in hopes of reaching out to a broader audience.

Dommy’s shows in Boston became a staple in his career. He was on a roll with his events and had brought the likes of Lil Tracy, No Jumper, Toopoor, Hoodrich Pablo Juan, Wifisfuneral, Robb Bank$, Lil Peep, Xavier Wulf, Lil Xan, and many more prominent artists into his shows. With the success that came his way, Dommy realized he needed more growth.

As a result, he threw one of the biggest events in New England history. This led him to journey outside of Boston and off to Lowell, where he rented a huge theatre and ended up connecting with Juice Wrld. Since this significant event, Dommy decided to take a step back and focus solely on throwing parties with a smaller crowd. But word has it that he still has something up his sleeves for all his fans and that an even bigger event is coming up.

When Dommy is not touring around, he continues to build his connections with the community and the entertainment industry alive through DJing. Interestingly, he is often found performing in some of the coolest events around the world like Fashion Week and Rolling Loud. He also runs a production company with a studio in North Hollywood where he helps growing artists in their journey towards creating music for people. With this, he continues to bond with other like-minded individuals in the industry.

By traversing on all specific parts of the field, Dommy has met and connected with different types of people in the entertainment arena. Dominic Ciccone believes that what sets him and his company apart from everybody else is how much they value people and the connections between them. After all, the industry is all about celebrating the talents of different individuals.
