More and more people are overcoming the stigma of seeking help to make sure that one’s mental health remains in check. Reality is; however, too many individuals still believe that they can continue to overcome life’s many challenges on their own – until it’s too late.

Dr. Danielle Archer, a multi-state licensed mental health therapist and founder of the Archer Counseling Services, advocates that it is okay to seek help. Most people think that seeking help through counseling is a sign of weakness. Others are uncomfortable opening up to strangers.

Having a clear understanding of the inhibitions people going through mental health issues carry, Dr. Archer assigns a suitable therapist to her clients after completing a needs analysis. She matches therapists to the needs of the clients to make sure that the latter remain comfortable all throughout the program.

The pressure that famous artists go through is unthinkable. Some do not know how to handle the fame, and some do not have the discipline to spend their money appropriately. There are no stable coping mechanisms when tension intensifies due to peer pressure and personal trauma. What most artists do not realize is that when things start to get worse, it’s time to talk to someone already.

What’s more, artists are often the most misunderstood group of people. And fans tend to forget that the person they idolize is just like any other person who gets tired, offended, scared, sick, and fed up. Although an artist’s mind is unique and uncommon, there will still be those who will continue to deny their need for help.

Dr. Archer also founded The Artist Minds, a clinic offering to counsel clients coming from the entertainment industry. Mostly, it caters to musicians and singers. This organization also accommodates clients from television, film, sports, and Broadway.

Both organizations are offering services handled by well-trained and compassionate therapists. Whenever necessary, Dr. Archer also accepts a free 30-minute consultation through the phone. She also handles sessions through teletherapy, making it a lot easier for clients to access her insights and professional opinion.

Occasional weekend appointments are also possible, so as long as it booking has been initiated days before. Dr. Archer reassures her clients that she is very flexible and open to setting up appointments that are acceptable to clients. Her priority is to make them feel secure and comfortable enough to open up.

With the current pandemic changing the way people Iive and how businesses operate, coping mechanisms need to be in place. In the absence of it, people will quickly start to suffer and lose hope. Dr. Archer wishes to extend help to people whose daily lives are greatly affected by anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, or grief.

Dr. Archer understands the apprehension of so many individuals about seeking needed help. Those who are still in denial, she believes, will eventually come to their senses and accept that intervention is necessary to build mental strength.
