Chris Kubby of Kubbco Tells You The Hard Truths About Entrepreneurs One Post At A Time

With over 20 years of experience as a digital marketer and entrepreneur, Chris ‘Kubby’ Kubbernus has some hard truths to share about being an entrepreneur one Instagram post at a time. If you follow entrepreneurship topics on Instagram you’ve probably seen his posts about looking at success differently, the meaning of hard work, and what it takes to have a business and to put your brand out there. Almost 300 thousand followers share his posts on Instagram who are inspired by him on a daily basis.

But who is this guy? Let’s take a deeper look. First and foremost, Kubby is the founder and CEO of Kubbco, a digital marketing agency based in Copenhagen, Denmark. They work with global Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies helping them with their social media and digital advertising. Kubbco recently launched a virtual influencer for the brand Essence Cosmetics, making them one of only five agencies across the world who are doing this kind of work.

More than just an entrepreneur, Chris has made a name for himself as a speaker in conferences and speaking engagements. If he’s not inspiring people online, he’s doing it on a big stage, speaking to thousands of people throughout different cities across North America and Europe. He has been on stage at the first global Snapchat conference, Snaphappen, Ungagged, Summit Live, Mobile Summit, eTail, ISC, Infoshare, SocialDay UK, among many others. If you’ve seen him, you’ve witnessed his unique style of knowledge, inspiration, humor, and audience engagement in his keynotes.

People look up to him because of his insights: different but relatable, straightforward, but funny. Making him more human than any entrepreneur nowadays that mostly feels more like a brand than a person.

For Chris, he has real-world experience, and he is self-made, and if there’s anything people look for in their mentors, it’s authenticity. Chris, unlike other seasoned entrepreneurs, didn’t go to business school. He learned it by himself coupled with hard work, perseverance, and a clear goal of where he’s going. His journey has never been easy. He built everything from scratch and on his own. It took him free gigs, lots of preparation, networking, unsuccessful pitches, and so many red-eye flights to be where he is now.

His advice for others looking to follow in his footsteps is simple – stay true to yourself, put in the work, but know that hard work isn’t the only criteria. He often tells his fans that success comes in increments and it grows over time versus big windfalls. So make sure you see those small successes building if you don’t see the signs of success – it’s probably time to switch strategy.

Chris is living proof that you can become successful no matter where you come from or whatever your situation is – you just need grit, tenacity and a bit of luck. He worked hard to be where he is now: a successful entrepreneur, an inspiring speaker, but most importantly, an individual who is true to himself, impacting millions of people’s lives and changing the world.
