Now more than ever our world needs positive energy, it needs a centered avenue to be positive and hero’s like Paul Vail to share with us the essence of being happy despite the odds that we are all facing during the COVID – 19 Pandemic.

We had a chance to catch up with Paul Vail in Seattle, this is what she shared up with us.

Trust and saying “Yes” both play a role in your life and your work. Can you tell our readers more about these aspects and how they can apply it to their day to day lives?

We each have our own individual goals, wishes, and desires. My belief and realization is that saying “Yes” to a desired goal is not only allowing that manifestation to unfold, it is accepting it. The simple word “Yes” not only gives us confidence, it gives us Joy! Then, in adding the mindset of “Trust”, this removes the fear and doubts that can ordinarily slow down or even block a desired goal. Also, “Trust” opens the door to a beautiful flow of positive manifestation in our lives, possibly well beyond what we had envisioned. This is because the concept of trust says you know that what you desire will happen.

Why is Paula Vail so Happy is a really beautiful book that can actually help readers find happiness and keep it? What inspired you to write this book and what do you hope readers take away with them once they have read it?

I made the choice to write “Why am I So Happy” to share insight and tools that every reader can use in their own personal challenges to find Joy in their life. Our true essence is Joy. With my life’s challenges, there were many times that I had to dig deep to find the essence of joy. Even though, it is the very core of our being. I discovered that every time I chose joy, despite what I was enduring, I always came through it in the end.  This book is to help remind us all that we carry this joy within ourselves and it’s always there for us.

You are a Reiki Master and celebrated teacher in the Usui Reiki tradition. What is it about Reiki that drew you to this healing modality, and how can it help people find happiness too?

My interest in Reiki began with my desire to help a beloved pet. I became intrigued and fascinated that Reiki is both spiritually based and scientific based.  Life force energy is what keeps us alive.  Reiki is a spiritually guided life force energy that works holistically on the whole person.  This causes negative energy to break apart and fall away, and allows clearing and balancing. Thus, allowing the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way. The energy, or biofield, healing method of Reiki is designed to trigger the body’s relaxation response and reduce stress, which aids the immune system in fighting illness. Reiki helps us find happiness in multiple ways. Having increased physical and emotional health due to receiving Reiki makes us feel good. When we feel good, we are Happier! Also, as a Reiki practitioner, the opportunity to offer this beautiful energy healing to others and animals, brings Great joy!

These days people are going through grief on many different levels, how can your book help them deal with these issues and find some relief?

My book shares multiple perspectives and tools in guiding us through difficult challenges, no matter what those challenges might be – personal or global. Life is like a river, always flowing. For many of us, we are consumed in the waves of the storm. Guidelines and information in “Why am I So Happy” will help readers to redirect their minds and emotions to make choices that will enable them to move through the difficult moments and find joy in the areas of their lives that are positive.

This book is such a powerhouse! Is there another book coming?

Yes. I am now in the process of creating my second motivational book. Also, I have a new podcast show opening up on Patreon in May 2020. My new podcast will focus on helping others expand their positive potential and much more.

Bonus Question

What is your favorite place to get away and meditate or just be one with your inner self?

I have an area in my yard outside my home where I sit in front of a beautiful majestic tree. Near me I have a peaceful statue of Buddha, as well as a bird bath and wooden black bear given to me by my dear father. I sit in this spot, listening to the birds and the squirrels busily enjoying life around me. Here, I meditate, connect with Source, my inner self, the animal world, and the planet. I call it my “Perfect Spot”.
