Oahu’s Kualoa Ranch is a home to a host of recreational activities and tours. Visitors get a chance to experience Oahu’s natural beauty and the ranch’s storied cultural heritage. This place is owned and operated by the Morgan family. Kualoa is just 24 miles away from Waikiki. The 4000-acre destination is open for visitors every day from morning 7 a.m. up to evening 5:30 p.m.

Once upon a time this place was utilized for sugar plantation. In the wake of insufficient rainfall, the sugar mill was shut and they started ranching cattle. Kualoa did play an important part in World War II and it made its Hollywood debut in 1955 in the Henry Fonda film “Mister Roberts.”
