California hip-hop artist Marcus432 is hoping to inspire others through his music. After getting a start in music by building a studio in his dorm room, he recently had the opportunity to open for popular rapper Blueface on his tour.

Marcus432 is also excited about the release of his new single “OMO” (On My Own), which dropped on September 9, 2020. He released it alongside his talented Australian cousin, Vali Woods. He related, “OMO is about DIY: taking control of your own life and doing what you want or need to do – no matter what it takes. Doing what it takes to get to the next level starts with you and only you.”

Marcus432 hopes to leave his audience with the message that, “You can achieve anything you want in life if you truly believe you can, and you take the steps necessary to get there. You don’t have to know how you’re going get there, but you just have to believe it will happen, feel good on a daily basis, and take action. Only then will the world will align itself to fit your wants.”

His music also comes from the challenges he has faced during his career. He stated in a personal interview that, “The anxiety and depression that came when I first began making music was tough to deal with. I constantly felt like I wasn’t good enough and that I had to look or act a certain way to be accepted in the hip-hop community. The only way I was able to overcome this was through meditation, believing in myself, and staying consistent with creating.”
