People assume that smoking cannabis is harmful. But that’s not the case. Unlike smoking cigarette, which is detrimental to health, smoking cannabis can increase lung capacity. It will not cause cancer but can increase lung capacity.

You must have noticed that every avid cannabis user is never overweight. It is because cannabis helps with regulating insulin while managing caloric intake efficiently. That’s why the person can’t gain weight.

As it regulates insulin in the body, it is a great controller of sugar levels in the body. The American Alliance for Medical Cannabis (AAMC) has linked cannabis to stabilize blood sugars, lower blood pressure, and improve blood circulation. That’s why cannabis can be helpful for a diabetic patient who is struggling with sugar levels or obesity.

Cannabis is also used to fight certain types of cancer. Mostly it is used along with chemotherapy to help patients deal with the pain. On top of all the benefits, cannabis is a great mood booster. Anyone suffering from depression, anxiety, and stress can benefit from the consumption of cannabis.
