Each morning most of us wake up followed with a daily routine to prepare for the day ahead. This usually involves cleansing the skin, applying makeup, and styling the hair. When putting on mascara, many women secretly long for achieving fluttery, perfect and long lashes, but in most cases, many of us end up with spider lashes. To avoid clumpy eyelashes, Lovoir would like to share our foolproof tricks and tips to get those feathery and perfect lashes every time.

– Condition Your Eyelashes

Like your head hair, lashes can also become damaged and dry. To stop this from happening, you can use vaseline to condition your lashes before you go to bed to build healthier and stronger eyelashes.

– Use An Eyelash Curler

This step is important. Attach the curler to the base of the eyelash and gently clamp down for 5 to 10 seconds. Now move the eyelash curler slightly away from the base and press down lightly again for 5 to 10 seconds. Using a curler will help to make the eyes look brighter and wider.

– Try Using A Primer

If you have thin or weak lashes, try using an eyelash primer coat before you apply your mascara.

– Blot Your Mascara Wand

Wipe your mascara wand to remove excess mascara. This helps to stop clumps when you apply the product.

– Avoid Pumping The Wand

Pumping the wand inside the tube will dry your mascara out very quickly. Rather use circular motions inside the casing to get the mascara out. This will stop the formula from drying out too quickly.

– You Can Bend Your Mascara Brush

By bending the brush at the correct angle, it can make it much easier to reach your lower and small inner lashes. Bending the wand can also help to avoid sticking the brush into your eye.

– Use The Wiggle Technique

When you apply mascara, start from the base and then wiggle your brush from right to left, rather than using an up-and-down motion. Use this zig-zag motion until you reach the end of your eyelashes. This will coat each lash for maximum effect.

– Comb Through Your Eyelashes

After applying your mascara, use a comb (for eyelashes) to brush the top part of your lashes to achieve feathery and flirty lashes. This also helps to separate any lashes that are stuck together.
