Rising Artist JGomes Is Eyeing the Top of the Entertainment Industry

Rising Artist Jason Gomes, famously known as JGomes, has his sights set on the number one spot of the entertainment industry. The rapper and songwriter is not planning on taking this music journey alone. Taking his experiences living in his home state and his personal life, JGomes is taking his family and the state of Connecticut on his way to the top.

JGomes grew up surrounded by music. He spent a lot of time with his father, who worked as a disc jockey. As the artist’s father was highly in tune with life on the streets, JGomes was exposed to the harsh reality outside his home’s safe four walls. To balance that, his mother, who works as a church minister, gave JGomes a perspective on the brighter side of the world.

Equipped with talent and a fair knowledge of how the world works at a young age, JGomes started writing his music when he was in the eighth grade. The artist started as a DJ wanting to be like his father and uncles before discovering he had the talent to create melodies and rhyme patterns.

On his writing progress, JGomes says, “I come up with songs about what I see without writing them down, I just think of what I want to say in my head and walk around and create a song.” With powerful lyrics and hard-hitting beats, the artist climbs his way to the top of the industry, one hit song at a time.

“I see myself in a position to help my family and the state of Connecticut be on top of the entertainment industry. I don’t do what I’m doing for myself alone. There is a lot of talent around me that I know if I had the opportunity to do what I’m doing, I would be able to succeed in this industry,” JGomes shares.

After his father’s unfortunate passing, JGomes threw himself on production work and turned to music for an outlet and distraction. JGomes’ popularity skyrocketed after he poured his focus on improving his craft, which the artist believes is what his father had in mind.

JGomes’ popularity and growing fanbase are largely due to his one of a kind hip hop and rap sound. With his story-telling lyricism and heavy-hitting instrumentation, JGomes seeks to push the envelope with his unique music and bridge various elements from different genres to make a well-rounded, dynamic style.

The hip-hop/rap artist’s authentic and raw sound has taken him to perform at famous venues such as Toads Place, Sin City, and Madison Square Garden, where he hooks and attracts the audience with his anthemic performances.

Driven by his father’s passing and taking influence from his experience growing up in Connecticut, JGomes is on the climb to the number one seat of the entertainment industry. The rising artist, having recently released a single entitled ‘Hallelujah’ two months ago, is putting in long hours of hard and excellent work to satisfy his fans’ craving for his music.
