Chattanooga Tennessee is home to budding hip-hop artist Isaiah Wallace.  Going by the stage name Justzai, this young rapper was raised in the city and finds great inspiration from his home.  Justzai has spent his life overcoming as he hails from the inner city of Chattanooga.  He spoke about his loyalty to his city in a personal interview saying, “[I] make strides to better the place I live in every day”.  It is not unusual to find Wallace walking around the city before a day in the studio writing and recording.  It could be said that a certain amount of Justzai’s creative flow is drawn from the city as he also revealed that, “I write while on a rooftop looking over the city”.

Justzai seriously got into music by rap battling in middle school and since then has achieved over 100,00 streams on Spotify despite the challenges of being an independent artist.  His career so far has instilled a self-assurance that he hopes shines through his music and inspires others to see that “even if you can’t find your comfort zone you can make a new one”.
