A lot of people get confused when it comes to determining the real trade of NdFeb magnets and they sometimes end up ordering the wrong magnets for a specific application. Many experts have thrown light on this subject and told the easy way to know the real grade of Ndfeb magnets.

A grade of a NdFeb (Neodynium) magnet is an indicator of the magnetic strength of a magnet. And the magnetic power of a NdFeb magnet increases with an increase in its grade. In general, the higher the grade of a NdFeb magnet, the higher will be the price of this permanent magnet.

According to experts, if a magnet has a name in the format of N35, ND-35, and ND 3520 then the letter ‘N’ in this signifies that it is a Neodynium magnet. And the number 35 determines the magnetic property of this magnet. All these three magnets with names in this format will be of the same grades.

The number 12 at the end represents the maximum temperature it can withstand for the magnet of 80° C. According to experts, sometimes the name of Neodynium magnets are in the format ND45SH, ND-45SH, and ND-4520. All these represent the same grades of Neo alloy.

What this means is that the Neodynium has the maximum energy density of 45 and the number 22 is the maximum operating temperature for the magnet of 150° C. The suffix ‘SH can also be used for representing the number 20.

The China-based company, AO Magnet is providing high-quality custom magnets and it has maintained a great presence for its Neodynium magnets. A lot of companies are focusing on custom magnets bulk orders from the China magnet company due to its excellent service.
