The time is now, the South Jersey rapper is poised to receive every single blessing he deserves. The tragic death of Dashous’ little brother (Christopher) is what put the music into motion and one of the main reasons why the marathon, is still going.

Clayy has an undoubted amount of creativity, a true ear for beat selection, unmatched amount of work ethic and accompanied by piercing lyrics which makes him, one helluva of a combination. His biggest tracks he is known for ‘Route 42’ and ‘Float On’ are starting to gain international attention as well as making Apple play list.

American Reporter spoke to the rapper over the phone, to discuss his experiences, his ambitions, and what lies ahead. The rapper is dropping his EP ‘Jesus In Giuseppes’ in August “It was something I originally wanted to do with Slum City Marv but life happens, I had a couple of songs I wanted to put out, and with Nicholas Craven producing the whole project man this is gonna be a special one!”

The first tease from the new EP is a release titled ‘Wilt The Stilt’. The track is super laid back, with big boy get high/party vibes. The sample in the beat puts you in a old school drop top going on a long ride in the Desert. Clayy feels very fortunate to have come across such a talented beat maker in Nicholas Craven, “His beats do something special to your soul, I can’t explain, I just can’t explain it”.

This could be one of many more collaborations with Nicholas Craven. “Ransom really brought light to me with his two projects with Nicholas Craven, at that point I went on beat seeking frenzy to find my fits with cravings productions.” The South Jersey rapper, has been strongly influenced by BLM movements as well as personal set backs, “If I don’t get it done, it won’t get done!” Stay tune!
