There is kindness in everyone, and it can be likened to a small flame. Consequently, everyone is also burdened with the choice to keep this flame from getting snuffed out, or the world will be enveloped in darkness.

But as long as one chooses to be kind amidst all the trials, there will always be some light in the world. And Sheila Mac, a prominent figure in personal development, shares in this philosophy by being an avid believer in the power of kindness.

Belle Burden: Attorney, Author, and the Voice Behind One of 2026’s Most Talked-About Memoirs

Along with being an author, a motivational speaker, an online teacher, and a lifestyle reboot consultant, Sheila is also a property investor leading a real estate team at Keller Williams in Beverly Hills.  But more than being a Beverly Hills author known for her top-selling books, Sheila Mac is recognized for always having her heart in the right place. And just like her books, the kindness she radiates also has a story of its own.

People would think that Sheila’s sunny disposition has something to do with a past that is just as vibrant. But quite the contrary, it was her pain and struggles that taught her to do things from a place of warmth and love. This author knows how it feels only to have one’s self to rely on during the darkest of times.

At one point in her life, Sheila had to juggle between being in an abusive living situation to losing everything in a house fire. She could have easily given up by throwing her whole life away. But like a phoenix rising from the ashes, this warrior came out even stronger than she could ever imagine. And although she had to put on a fierce face, her heart remained soft.

Heavily inspired by her tumultuous journey, she wrote a book called “Bootstraps & Bra Straps: The Formula to go from Rock Bottom and Back into Action in any Situation.” This new book of hers will have its official launch on August 4, 2020, and will be available on Amazon, Kindle, and Audible.

Through her upcoming book, Sheila shares her voice to all the women who are grappling for theirs. She inspires them with how the lowest points in her life have stunningly turned around. Moreover, the author offers clarity and joy in places where it can be seemingly impossible to find grace and hope. Indeed, she has a knack for creating a compelling perspective on unfortunate events.

To create a strong rapport with her audience, Sheila incorporated some interactive exercises in her book, which would help the readers discover their true north. She also added some words of affirmation for those days when one doesn’t feel like being on the go. Through her unique Boots formula, chapter exercises, and individualized affirmations, the mind is trained to think that anything is possible when the heart is placed in the right direction.

Everyone will eventually hit rock bottom – be it in career, relationships, finances, lifestyle, and whatnot. But as scary as this may sound, Sheila Mac is strongly making a statement that the toughest of times are just opportunities to create the best version of one’s self.
