How Antonia Stephenson II got started in Real Estate

Real estate has been known to be an essential component to building wealth. Almost every major investor we know from Warren Buffet to Donald Trump all have Real Estate apart of their portfolio. “Success leaves clues, Stephenson says, that’s why he got started in Real Estate, he wanted to be a millionaire so he just wanted to follow what millionaires do and one of the things they do is, invest in real estate.

Mr. Stephenson remembers his first interest in real estate being sparked by watching Million Dollar Listing – LA that appears on the TV Network Bravo. “I just loved seeing those luxury homes on TV because I don’t come from money, so I use to just vision myself owning the type of homes that they were showing on the show”, he says. If you’re not familiar with the show, it shows luxury homes in Los Angeles and has had celebrities appear on their show as well, such as Kelly Rowland and Tyga, who are both recording artist.

The book that sent Antonia down his yellow brick road of real estate investing was Gary Keller’s, The Millionaire Real Estate Investor. “That book literally is the reason why I’m addicted to reading now, it had so much knowledge and is the reason why I even know about Real Estate Investment Groups”, he explains. He continues to give praise to the book by stating, “I found a safe haven to learn about real estate investing because of that book. I remember how excited I was seeing that one of the investors that was including in the book actually lived a few minutes from me at the time. I was stationed in the Navy in Norfolk, VA and this investor who was named lived in Virginia Beach, which is only 20 mins away from me’.

Young and ambitious, Antonia took that little bit of information and ran with it. His hustle landed him that contact information of the local investor and the local investor then pointed him in the right direction to get started. Since then Antonia says that everything has been downhill and he’s looking forward to helping more people get into real estate.
