Graphic Designing follows simple patterns of art. It may seem basic but it is essential for designing. Successful graphic designers follow these simple principles to make catchy designs.

The first principle is space. Space in design is as valuable as any other feature. Simple white space in the design plays a vital role in the design. It accentuates the different elements of the design. Many colleges as well as online courses in UK focus on this very aspect, like on this website.

Balance and alignment are vital principles of design. When you decorate your house, you do not clutter all the sofas and coffee table into a corner. But you spread it out evenly. That’s balance and alignment, and it is important in graphic design.

Hierarchy is nothing as it sounds; it just means focusing on the hero element of the graphic design. If you are designing a wedding card, you got to focus on the couple, wedding date, and venue. While designing, it is crucial to highlight the important elements.

Lines and shapes, compose a design. They are essential elements using which you create a plan. One must carefully use these elements to create a graphic design. It must follow the brand vision.

Color is another influential element used in graphic design. Other than shapes and lines, color is another ingredient in design that can hold the attention of the viewer. One must use it to create a brand image and use colors that suit the brand.

Typography is as responsible for branding as color. The type of font you use will send out the message to the consumers. Using a funky font is going to put on a fun image of your brand while using something classy will give your brand a sophisticated feel.

The final basic is Branding, and it must be done with the help of the principles mentioned above. It is the key to the success of the design.
