How Versatile G Became an Artist

Reading Time: 3 mins read

Versatile G’s humble beginnings as an artist started in a Wingstop bathroom. His first song ever recorded was off of an iPhone. The young artist was just 8 years old, but knew he wanted to change the world with his sound. The song went up on YouTube and caught the attention of his peers. It was the beginning of a long journey for Versatile G.

Versatile G has been in the industry his whole life, and points to early childhood dreams for setting his course. He said, “I’ve been in the industry my whole life. My mother used to have a lot of friends in the fashion, music and entertainment industry. I would always see the people she would network with and the older I got the more I realized how important some of these figures were in society. I started to build my own connections and relationships over the years. Most of the thinking I did when I was six or seven years old has gotten me to where I am today.”
