Ricky Carruth: The world’s no. 1 Realtor & Coach changing the life of agents

What is the basic emotion which connects people? Why do people do the same thing differently? Who is planning to seek and acquire?  When will the people actually jump? How will/can the people be satisfied? 5 questions, 1 answer – ‘RICKY CARRUTH’.

Ricky is the number one Real Estate agent of Alabama. Born and brought up in Alabama/Florida Gulf Coast, he is an accomplished real estate agent and a successful Coach & motivational speaker. Ricky is an inspiring success story of how a boy, dropped out of college at 20, in order to pursue his realtor career, went onto make a cool million in realtor fees by the age of 23. Not all was smooth though; Ricky has had a rollercoaster ride, going bankrupt shortly after the thumping market crash. This period gave him time to look into himself, how & what he should do to turn around his fortunes. In this, he realized one thing, “Money comes and goes, but people, people are here forever.” His new motto was to value relationships over the transactions. This theory proved beneficial in 2010 when the BP oil spill disaster devastated the real estate market; agents fled, the market crashed, all hell broke loose. But not Ricky, who held his ground and his relations, he stood by the people and sought out buyers and sellers in the grim times with his ability to connect emotionally. His goal was to help and not to profit off them. He built relationships, he believed in making the clients, a part of his family. This gave him referrals and more referrals, his income grew by a whopping 50% next year $150000 in realtor fees. Since 2014 Ricky is closing 100 properties a year by a single agent, thereby becoming the number one real estate agent.

Ricky didn’t stop at that; he ventured into providing free coaching to agents for reducing the failure rate by giving tips and ways to overcome the odds in the real estate business. Ricky said “I love the process of helping people “, started his coaching company called “Zero to Diamond” to help & support agents, free of cost. Ricky has become the very first, completely free real estate coach in the world with 22000+ agents in his program. He has a total of close to 300 thousand followers on his Instagram & YouTube pages. He has started working more hard after this coaching platform as Ricky is still an active real estate agent and a very good one too. He wants the young, struggling agents to get clear insights into the business so that they don’t get the lows & rejections he himself faced. It is a spectacular initiative of giving something back to the society. He also has a knack of motivating people, inspiring them his real-life experiences.

Ricky Carruth has also written two books, namely: ‘Zero to Diamond: How To Become A Million Dollar Real Estate Agent’, in which he shares his outlook on how to make it the industry. Dr Lance Moore, an author and musician, says “This book will pay for itself thousand times over.”

The second book is ‘List To Last: How To Survive Every Real Estate Market Crash’, wherein Ricky shares his experience of the devastating market crash, the brutal oil spill disaster and how he coped in the most turbulent of times in the market, and what you can do to be ready any such calamities.

Ricky Carruth tells his students to look at the MLS system every single day and observe how many deals are being closed on a daily basis. He challenges them to close deals by questioning their self-doubt on their hard work. Ricky has been the number 1 RE/MAX agent in Alabama for three years running, and he doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
