Due to coronavirus, crime has certainly come down. But the uncertainty of going out is scary. The roads are mostly empty and this is an easy ground for criminals to hover. But we are not talking about this paranoia. We are talking about another safety hazard of staying at home for such long hours. Due to Quarantine, people are spending time in their kitchen a lot. A lot of hours are spent cooking culinary delicacies. This being done with everyone at home means a lot of distractions. Such a situation breeds risky situations like fire hazard.

Alarm companies have confirmed that they have seen an increase in sales in their security alarm systems. Companies like ADT and Simplisafe have confirmed a rise in their market during Coronavirus scare. People want to be doubly sure about things that they can prevent and control.

A rise has been seen even in Do It Yourself / DIY Home Security systems installations. ADT remarked that there have been more cases of fire reported. Also, people are coming to buy more fire alarms and Carbon Monoxide alarms. There are interesting packages available to choose from. Monthly monitoring ranges from $37 to $63 and most of the packages come with 3 to 5 years of coverage.

There are also big service providers who club their service with fire protection services like Protect America and Guardian. If one is opting for a fire alarm then it is always wise to get your family and your house protected with these professional service providers.

Another alarm manufacturing company Fort Knox too feels that there has been a rise in the installations of security alarms at home and offices. The company official said that the best part is that these systems don’t take much of a space and can be set up at home and business locations in no time.
