Shabbat Candlesticks are now Available in Various Shapes, Sizes and Travel Friendly Options

Various styles of Shabbat candlesticks are now available in the market suiting the personality of the one lighting it. Generally, the women of the house light the Shabbat candle. Judaism preaches lighting the Shabbat candlesticks by women.

Every Friday evening (as the day of rest commences), Jewish families sits around their dinning table to celebrate Shabbat and before the feast of fluffy challah, perfectly cooked chicken, and kosher wine begins the women of the family light the Shabbat candle holders. The candlesticks are also lit during holidays. All women can do this but some start only after their marriage.

Shabbat candlesticks are great as wedding gifts as every family needs one. The kind of beautiful variety available nowadays in the market online and offline has made it one of the most sought after gifts to give to the newly married couple or even as a gift in family celebrations. People are always looking out for new designs of candlesticks to fit on their table to make their dinner time more beautiful and aromatic. There are traditional styles available but the market is also flooded with new age, abstract designs in different shapes and sizes that suits the personality of a grandmother to a teenager. Almost perfect Shabbat candlestick can be bought that compliments the lady buying it.

The lighting happens every Friday evening and certain times in this fast paced life it is not easy to carry candlesticks in the business tours. But then there are travel sized candlesticks available that makes the process easy. The Shabbat becomes special wherever you go. It is easy to carry and it is like taking a part of your traditions to any part of the world with you.
