Australia has defeated Pakistan in a three-match T20 International series to register a win in the series with a final score, 2-0. In the third T20 match against Pakistan at Optus Stadium, the Australian side was seen in tremendous form and it started dominating the Pakistan side by taking quick wickets at the beginning overs of the match. Australian bowlers didn’t allow the Pakistani batsmen to open their hands and restricted them completely with their excellent bowling.

Due to this, the openers Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam started feeling pressure which gave an opportunity to the Australian bowlers to gain some momentum. Mitchell Strac trapped the Pakistani captain Babar Azam and on the very next delivery, he sent Mohammad Rizwan back to the stadium. The bowler, Sean Abbott took the wicket of Imam-ul-Haq and Pakistan started feeling a high pressure due to three wickets down at just 22 runs.

The Pakistani batsman Iftikhar was standing at one end but wickets continued to fall at the other end. Sean Abbott gave a big shock to Pakistan by taking two important wickets by just offering 14 runs. Due to the excellent bowling from the Australian bowlers, Pakistan only managed to set a total of 106/8 on the screen board.

Australian batsmen faced no discomfort in achieving the target in a limited time with all the ten wickets in their hands. Openers Aaron Finch and David Warner hit 13 fours and 5 sixes to achieve the total in a fierce manner. Sean Abbott was named the man of the match for collapsing Pakistan’s innings by taking 2 important wickets for 14 runs.
