Venture Mentality is a podcast, an apparel company, and overall, a lifestyle brand that aims to inculcate self-improvement to people everywhere. With its thought-provoking conversations in the podcast and motivational messages from its clothing, the company is devoted to helping people better themselves in all aspects of their lives—may it be in their minds, fitness, relationships, and overall well-being.

With over 120 episodes now, the Venture Mentality podcast offers its listeners with insightful interviews with people who found success in many different fields of their lives, including  TV personalities, actors, professional athletes, YouTube stars, and successful entrepreneurs. The show is designed to help each listener attract success into their lives and overcome their current roadblocks by offering enticing and entertaining interviews with high-performing people. In the podcast, Jacob O’Connor has already had conversations with many successful names from different walks of life, including Jay Harris (ESPN Anchor), Chris Pronger (NFL Hall of Fame hockey player), and Sean Whalen (founder of Lions Not Sheep apparel).

In addition to his podcast, Jacob O’Connor has also recently launched his own apparel line under the same branding, Venture Mentality. O’Connor’s clothing line offers t-shirts that are not only stylish and comfortable but also convey a positive message. The Venture Mentality apparel line aims to make clothing with a message that is designed to create a community of like-minded thinkers. Hand-in-hand with the podcast, O’Connor wants to continue spreading the philosophy of having a growth mindset through clothes, helping people literally wear their message on their chests.

If there is anyone who truly lives and breathes a growth mindset, it would be Jacob O’Connor. Fresh out of high school, he has truly undergone quite a change since his freshman year up to where he is now. The young Jacob O’Connor has always been excelling in school, but he realized that his interest was not always in academics. By the end of his sophomore year, he had applied to an elite entrepreneurial program in his county, while he also started working on different businesses.

While he always did not find success in them, these businesses had allowed Jacob to learn from mistakes and grow from them. By junior year, Jacob had been accepted in the entrepreneurial program and ended up winning Entrepreneur of the Year from said program. His line of work led him to listening to podcasts about successful people. Ultimately, he decided to create his own podcast as well, aiming to inspire those who strive more in their lives like he did.

Now at 18 years old and fresh out of high school, Jacob O’Connor is ready to grow Venture Mentality. Being the living embodiment of a growth mindset, Jacob aims to motivate people to adopt the same way of thinking as well, and remind them that your success is always in your own hands—you just have to grow towards it.
