Life is a constant struggle, they say. Well, many of us in life indeed have to go through hell first to experience what heaven is eventually. To know the greater meaning of life, sometimes people experience things that make them stronger each day. We know of one such person who went through hell & after years of his consistent efforts & determination managed to achieve all his dreams. We are talking about Jerry Ford from Detroit, the man who had a childhood full of violence, addiction & drug trafficking, gang life, murder, jail & whatnot.

At the tender age of just 14, his brother Sam got murdered on their mother’s birthday. And, when Ford turned seventeen, his best friend Steven also got killed. Having lived such difficult times, there was only one way for Jerry to channel his anger & that was through martial arts. Soon, his efforts in the same made him a black belt in many styles & this made him also achieve gold medals in the Junior Olympics & many other world-respected tournaments.

After receiving his Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, his journey as a personal fitness trainer started at the New York Health & Racquet Club. Later he even became one of the top trainers of the company. This gave him more confidence to try his luck in a different city & so he moved to Los Angeles to become one of the best trainers at Equinox. Soon, he even launched his own private training business after leaving Equinox & getting the know-how of the science of human engineering. Today he has acquired a client base which includes not just celebs, fighters, but also high-net-worth individuals, members from the royal family, and many others. Till now, Ford has travelled both nationally & internationally to train his clients.

Ford became an author in 2018 by writing a book called Guns, Drugs, or Wealth which later became a best-seller. In his book, he shares his life experiences about the violence, poverty, & even tragedy that inspired him to achieve bigger in life. In this inspirational book, he also shares his three-pronged investment strategy for people to get financial security & also some peace of mind. The book also gives us a gist on how Ford, through his personal training, accumulated good amounts & built his wealth by making investments in stocks and real estate with the help of smart spending.

Taking retirement in 2019 from personal training, Ford became a full-time investor. He only kept Big Sean as his client, who is a platinum selling rapper from Detroit & Grammy nominated. Today, Ford proudly calls financial investment as his passion. His work includes investing in real estate, stocks, films, television & all those sectors which he believes can turn out to be lucrative for him. He has recently even launched a company that holds & manages a portfolio of exchange-traded securities. It also holds a portfolio in the stock market. To capitalize on the investments, it works closely with co-investors like high-net-worth individuals, celebs, etc.

To help his co-investors to become more successful & earn more, Ford had started with this business. This way, he has carved a path for himself to expand his financial success & is still looking out for ways that can provide him with greater opportunities for success.
