Rising Hip Hop Artist, EdThatsMyCup, Believes his Love for Music Helps him Pursue his Dreams

Edward Robertson, popular with the stage name, EdThatsMyCup, is a rising hip-hop artist based in Daytona, Florida in the US. He is gaining popularity in the hip-hop world due to his fast and loose-style covers. The young artist writes his own music and it simply reflects his dedication as well as a passion for music.

EdThatsMyCup believes that it is his love for music that inspires him to achieve his dreams in hip-hop music.

The young artist started developing his interest in hip-hop music when he was about 6-8 years old. He got hooked when his brother played dirt off ya shoulders & 99 problems. EdThatsMyCup started recording at the age of 16 and he gained more interest in the music at 19.

According to EdThatsMyCup, he follows his thoughts while writing lyrics and he speaks his mind in his songs. This rising hip-hop star considers Nipsey Hussle, Roddy Ricch, Kid Cudi, Mac Miller, J.Cole, YNW Melly as his biggest inspirations.

His popularity on Instagram and Spotify is rising continuously as he enjoys over 10K followers and 100K monthly listeners on the two platforms.

His first single “Heavyweight” is gaining a lot of popularity as it enjoys over 25k streams on Spotify. The emerging artist’s music album, ‘Give Me Space’ is receiving a positive response among its target audience. It contains six songs, namely, Dope Boii, Dreams, Puttin’ On, Raw Sex, Bury Me, and Fade.

EdThatsMyCup is touching a new height of success in the hip-hop world and it is his love for music that is helping him achieve his dreams.
