A Vegan’s Food Guide to Reykjavik

Reykjavik is the largest and the capital city of Iceland. And is popular for its Saga Museums that exhibit its viking culture. But it’s the culinary scene in the city that people are concerned about. And recently it has been buzzing.

Vegans generally do not have much options to exploit while traveling. But now the gastronomical industry is inviting vegan options. And so is Reykjavik. Several vegan options are now visible while taking a Reykjavik food tour. Veganism is on the rise and with increased demand for tasty vegan food, today’s scene is unrecognizable. Here are 5 places in Reykjavik to whet your vegan appetite.

Aalto Bistro is a Nordic House Eatery. It is located between gorgeous preserved wetlands and the University of Iceland. The  vegan dumplings are so juicy, that even pork-lovers could eat it without knowing. And the Vegan noodles are Al dente and just have the right amount of heat.

Glo Vegan is a place that is 100% vegan, no questions asked. It provides Indian Dal bowl which is a huge hit along with its Keto Bowl. And its spinach lasagna deserves to be known worldwide.
