Anna Wintour Poked Melania Trump by Praising Michelle Obama

British-American Fashion Journalist, Anna Wintour has proved again that she is the queen of shade after she poked the current first lady, Melania Trump during an interview. Vogue editor was asked about Melania but she kept on changing the topic about Melania and started praising ex-first lady Michelle Obama.

Wintour always remained clever to respond to anything and indirectly pointed out someone or the other instead of Melania Trump when The Economist’s host Anne McEvoy asked her what she thought about Melania Trump’s fashion sense. McElvoy noted during the interview that Melania has been wearing a lot of British based designers during her UK trip but Wintour responded like she does not care about any of that.

McEvoy said, “She ignored the question and proceeded to savagely praise the previous First Lady instead, saying that: ‘I think first lady Michelle Obama really was so incredible. In every decision, she made about fashion. She supported young American designers, she supported designers indeed from all over the world. She was the best ambassador that this country could possibly have in many ways way beyond fashion.'”

McEvoy tried to ask once again about Melania and said that Michelle Obama is not the first lady now and what she thinks about the current one now, but again Anna Wintour disses Melania Trump by praising Michelle Obama instead when asked about the same question and said that for her Michelle Obama is the example that she praises. Many fans are praising Wintour for her response during the interview and commenting, “Sometimes not saying anything at all is the purest form of shade. Well done, Anna Wintour.”
