Ubisoft presented a brand-new Rainbow Six game for PS4, Xbox One, and PC titled Rainbow Six Quarantine during E3 last month. It is a three-player co-op tactical shooter game. The game was expected to be revealed in 2020. And now, Ubisoft has narrowed down that window further. During latest financial call, CEO Yves Guillemot, the publisher said the game is ready to be launched in the fourth quarter of its current fiscal year.

Ubisoft aims to release the game between 1st January, 2020 and 31st March, 2020. But a delay can be expected as it’s very well known that the French publisher and developer likes to release games in March. Watch Dogs Legion is arriving on March 6. So the delay won’t be much. Expect a release in February or by the end of March. Or let’s be hopeful that it miraculously meets the release promise in January as in February we have Gods & Monsters arriving.

For those new to the bandwagon, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine is a three-player tactical co-op game. It is set numerous years in future of the Rainbow Six universe. It’s being developed by a whole fresh team within Ubisoft Montreal. The long-standing legacy of co-op shooters in the series and the cast of operators in Rainbow Six Siege is their inspiration. The trailer showed that the title completely takes after last year’s Outbreak event for Rainbow Six Siege.

“The Rainbow Operators will compete against brand new breed of altered alien parasite. Infecting human hosts and their surroundings it is more lethal and challenging than previous ones. Be ready to take-off into edgy, unruly and thoroughly unpredictable operations as you and your force risks all each time you step into Quarantine.”

After the launch, Rainbow Six Siege will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Till now there’s been no word about any additional ports.
