When Nada Alshamsi opened Huff & Puff Burger in 2016, she was new to entrepreneurship and didn’t know what to fully expect. While many restaurants take time to catch on, Huff & Puff’s rapid success quickly put any concerns Nada had to rest. The restaurant is a fully home-grown operation, owned and managed by Nada herself. Their special recipes and attention to detail set them apart from local fast-food rivals, and the rest has been history.

Today, Huff & Puff has since grown into 11 locations across the United Arab Emirates, with 5 in KSA, 1 in Salalah-Oman, and 1 in Kuwait. Even with such rapid growth, Nada has no plans to slow down the expansion of the company into new territories. When asked about how she was able to scale the business so quickly, Nada said, “Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do it, keep working hard and you will achieve your goal.”

Entering into an industry as competitive as fast food may be intimidating to some entrepreneurs, but Nada is built for the competition. The idea of business competition is nothing new to her, and the success of Huff & Puff has been proof of that.

Not only did customers quickly fall in love with the restaurant’s recipes, so did the competitors. Nada says that a lot of competitors tried to steal her recipes, but were unsuccessful in doing so.

There’s a saying that imitation is the highest form of flattery, and Nada’s competitors made it clear that Huff & Puff has the best burgers in town when they tried taking their recipe.

Nada has wasted little time giving back to the community since becoming a massively successful business owner. When she’s not busy running operations at the restaurant, she is helping those in need and providing free meals to the poor. Giving back has given Nada a tremendous sense of fulfillment and purpose, and she plans to continue giving back more and more as Huff & Puff continues expanding.

Nada’s relentless pursuit of success means that she feels Huff & Puff is only just getting started. Her future plans for the restaurant brand include expanding internationally and having branches located in countries around the world. Based on the current trajectory of the business, this plan isn’t far off from becoming a reality for Nada as she continues to rise to greatness in the restaurant business.
