The best season to have a wedding in Udaipur would be September to March. Traveling to Udaipur is easy as the city has its own airport. It is well connected to other cities by railways too. The bookings should be made well in advance for great deals. Or choose off season time for wedding to cut cost. It’s better to hire local vendors for services such as dj, mehendi artists, wedding favours and catering to avoid extra costs.

Add traditional and local cuisine like dal bati churma and lal Maas in the menu. It will give local flavour plus save money.  Udaipur already has aesthetically beautiful venues that do not require much of decorating. So one can relax with décor and lighting and not go overboard. Rather invest the money in folk dance performances- Ghoomar and Kalbeliya or Kathputli show.
