In a world where mainstream media bombards readers and viewers with an overwhelming amount of content, it has become challenging to determine which sources can be relied upon and which stories should be disregarded as misinformation.

And the public knows this. In 2022, the Gallup poll found that Amercians’ trust in mainstream media has reached an all-time low. When asked if they had “a great deal” of trust and confidence in the media, only 7% of Americans said yes. 25% reported “a fair bit” of confidence – so 32% of Americans still have at least some faith, but a whopping 38% reported having no confidence at all in newspapers, TV, and radio.

For the first time in history, the percentage of US citizens with zero trust in the media outweighs the percentage of those with either a great deal or a fair amount of confidence in the media – combined.

Jack Halebian saw the problem and devised a solution. He founded HPG Networks with a singular mission: to establish a credible source of information for readers interested in a wide range of subjects, including business, entertainment, lifestyle, and more. Based in New York City, HPG offers global and international coverage of diverse current events, and caters to the interests of its readers by producing engaging content in the realms of lifestyle and entertainment, with dedicated sections on its website for each of these areas.

Why the lack of trust?

The decline in trust in the media is more pronounced among Republicans, with only 14% expressing trust compared to 32% the previous year. Democrats and independents have shown a slight decline in trust, with 51% of Democrats and 30% of independents expressing trust in the media. Trust has also declined among different age groups, with 26% of those aged 18 to 49 and 38% of those aged 50 and older expressing trust.

So – why? Halebian feels that this decline in trust may be attributed to the divisive presidential election, with Republicans believing the media has shown bias against Donald Trump. “Regardless of this, the decline in media trust has been a decade-long trend,” Halebian reports. “It may be influenced by the rise of alternative sources of information and a perception of lower journalistic standards.”

Rigorous Sourcing Process

HPG is one of those alternative sources of information – but according to Halebian, low journalistic standards are absolutely unacceptable.

“Thorough and accurate reporting is crucial,” says Halebian. “At HPG, we have a rigorous sourcing process so that the information presented to readers is reliable and trustworthy.”

He explains that the platform has built a network of professionals from an array of backgrounds and industries, each bringing their expertise to the table. Tapping into this vast pool of knowledge allows HPG Networks to ensure a comprehensive and well-rounded perspective on various subjects.

The platform also emphasizes fact-checking and cross-referencing information before publishing, ensuring that the content is credible and backed by reputable sources. This commitment to stringent sourcing sets HPG Networks apart in an era where misinformation can easily proliferate.

Reporting with Empathy and Authenticity

HPG Networks takes a people-first approach in reporting, putting empathy and authenticity at the core of every story. “Behind every event or issue, there are real people with real experiences,” Halebian affirms. “We seek to highlight personal narratives and capture the human element so that we can foster a deeper connection between readers and the news they consume.”

This empathetic reporting both enhances understanding and helps readers relate to and engage with the content on a more meaningful level. Additionally, HPG Networks strives for authenticity by presenting unbiased perspectives and avoiding sensationalism. The platform values integrity in storytelling, ensuring that the news presented is genuine and trustworthy.

Diverse Network of Experienced Professionals

HPG Networks boasts a diverse network of experienced professionals who contribute to their content production. Collaborating with experts from various fields allows HPG to offer readers a wealth of knowledge and insights. Whether it’s business, politics, entertainment, or lifestyle, HPG Networks taps into a broad range of expertise to deliver well-informed and reliable content.

“We have a strong commitment to diversity,” states Halebian. “This is how we get a balanced representation of ideas and perspectives, enriching the reading experience for a global audience. This diverse network of professionals also helps HPG Networks stay ahead of the curve, ensuring that they provide timely and relevant coverage of current events.

Options for Readers and Writers

HPG is now offering a new advertising package and merchandise store, as well as financial tools and consultation services. The platform caters to two main audiences – one, obviously, consists of readers and content consumers, who trust HPG Networks for the latest news and articles and/or follow the company’s social media accounts.

The second audience consists of business professionals and global brands who contribute to HPG content with their industry expertise.

News You Can Trust

“Regardless of where you live or what you believe, you can count on HPG Networks to help you navigate different current events and trends happening in the world and how they affect or relate to you,” says Halebian. “We consider the needs, passions and curiosity of our readers in all of our published articles.”

Amidst the confusion of the digital age, HPG has emerged as a trusted source of credible news. HPG Networks’ dedication to delivering accurate and reliable information sets them apart and provides readers with a trustworthy resource in navigating the complexities of the modern world. As the platform continues to prioritize trust and credibility, HPG Networks reaffirms its commitment to being a beacon of reliable news in a digital age plagued by misinformation.
