Kaplan Inc. is a result-oriented organization known for educational excellence, providing the resources and pathways that students, businesses, and institutions need for continued success. The company’s founder, Stanley Kaplan, began tutoring his peers when he was still a student in Brooklyn in the 1930s. His passion for helping his students led him to establish his own tutoring company in 1938. A year later, he graduated from City College of New York and soon devoted himself full-time to helping students succeed.

Kaplan was established with a vision that students from all backgrounds should have the opportunity to succeed. As the need for continued education has grown, Kaplan’s offerings have expanded from preparing students for high-stakes admissions exams to preparing individuals for employment and career advancement, as well as supporting colleges and universities to help their students succeed and enabling employers to support their staff with ongoing education and training opportunities.

Each year, Kaplan International Pathways Program serves more than 25,000 new students in over 20 cities worldwide, partnering with more than 30 universities in the U.S., U.K., Ireland, and Australia to provide career-oriented educational pathways for postgraduate high school, undergraduate, and graduate students’ degrees.

International students from over 150 countries seeking English-language training are served at schools across the U.S., U.K., Australia, and New Zealand. Coursework ranges from general language proficiency to more specialized professional programs in business, medicine, and other disciplines.

Kaplan For Educational Institutions

Kaplan has partnered with colleges and universities worldwide to provide an array of services, including infrastructure development, online enablement, and international recruitment and pathway programs.

Kaplan’s Pathways Program enables international students who want to study in English-speaking countries to take English courses at more than 20 partner universities while also taking courses that will count as credits toward their undergraduate degree.

Kaplan’s Prelum™️ programs are designed to help high school students explore career options through online immersion programs that enable them to make decisions about colleges, majors, and fields of study with confidence.

Kaplan Career Core™ is an innovative shared services model offering industry-specific services and support to grads preparing to enter the workforce, and its Credegree™ Program helps educational institutions provide industry-recognized qualifications with their established curriculum. This ensures students are well positioned for professional success when they graduate and enter the workforce.

Kaplan also provides online enablement services to help universities deliver programs online. Kaplan’s living campus facilities, which include student residences and teaching facilities, ensure improved academic outcomes for students.

Moreover, through its strategic partnerships with educational institutions, Kaplan helps employers offer education-as-benefit programs to individuals seeking degrees in various areas of study.

Kaplan also partners with major employers to deliver academic and career advancement services to help their employees grow and progress.
