Iranian Actor MohammadReza Zhaleh Talks About His Passion for Acting, “I Want to Do Every Kind of Role”

MohammadReza Zhaleh is a renowned Iranian actor, author and narrator. MohammadReza Zhaleh hails from Tehran, Iran and is the son of poet, musician and writer Mahmoud Zhaleh. The 32-year-old actor started his acting journey in the year 2005 with theatre. The actor has always been passionate about acting, and working in theatre encouraged him to dream about making it big in the cinematic world.

At that time, a few directors’ works made him curious about the acting world. His hard work and determination helped him bag his first job as a stage manager in 2008 in a series called Sarai. After his successful stint in Sarai, actor MohammadReza got to be a part of another series, Mazrae-ye Pedari (Fathers Farm in English). He worked as an actor in the series.

Iranian actor MohammadReza Zhaleh’s performance in the series helped him earn a lot of recognition. He then worked in movies like The Sign of Angel, Riding in the Dust and many others. Till 2018, the actor has been a part of more than 15 movies and shows.

About his love for acting, MohammadReza Zhaleh says, “I am passionate about acting. I love the entire process of making movies and shows. In 2005, I realised that this was a field I truly wanted to pursue, and I worked hard every day. I am happy that I have done such good work. I want to keep acting till I can. It’s my everything. I wish to do every kind of role that will make me and my fans happy.”

Besides being a successful and talented actor, MohammadReza is also a notable writer. His first book ‘Yazdegerd and the Third Millennium’ received rave reviews from critics and readers. The actor says, “When I wrote this novel, I intended to adapt it into a recognized screenplay and release it to theatres as soon as possible.”

MohammadReza Zhaleh is also an audiobook narrator. He recently narrated a book called The Little Prince. In 2022, the actor-author-narrator started a company called Zhaleh Company – Broadcasting & Media Production.
