In the early days of his life, James knew nothing about Jesus except his name. In a state of unconsciousness, the drunk young boy kept challenging God, “If you are real, show me yourself.”

Introducing Church To A Working-class Orphan, now known as James Levesque.

A devoted Christian invited James to the Church from where his spiritual journey started and led him to build strong ties with God—transforming his life forever.

When Levesque was just a child, he lived in Branford Manor with his single mother. The neighborhood was known for its working-class and poverty rates that were all too common among these parts of town, but young James found something different when confronted by Christ during teenage in one attendance session over there Groton Church, where everyone got to talking about their lives affairs-including how much people became inclined towards Christianity right before our eyes!

Stepping Out To Preach

In 1994, Levesque discovered his calling in ministry. He and his ex-wife set out to locate those who wanted to be reborn in New London’s bars. Levesque was the first to state that his background was dark, and he had no prior training as a preacher. However, he quickly gained a following among the city’s drinkers and sinners. His messages of redemption and hope resonated with many, and he soon became a well-known figure in the town.

The Engaging Heaven—A Remarkable Step Towards Spirituality.

The Church is a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness to His people. No matter where you are in your journey with God, you are welcome at Engaging Heaven Church.

James, the founder of Engaging Heaven Church, always had a heart for God and people. He started the Church in 2008 out of a storefront in New London, Connecticut. He envisioned offering a diverse congregation for people from all walks of life to participate and remember God. James’ purchase of one of the oldest church buildings in America helped preserve the history of the early pioneer preachers who visited there to share the Gospel. This resulted in the 1st and 2nd “Great Awakenings.”

Experience With The Godly Powers

Pastor James Levesque got an intense but very vivid vision from the Lord during a typical Sunday night session at his Church. It was one, according to Levesque, that forever impacted his life and vocation.

“Worship was so powerful in this service, and I saw the Lord standing in front of me. He said he would rekindle the fires of waking,” Levesque stated on a recent edition of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network with Dr. Steve Greene.

“That night, we witnessed marvels. A man who was scheduled to have his legs amputated was cured. I mean, we witnessed some incredible God movements. After the service, I prayed in my office when we heard an explosion. In our city, a transformer blew, which had not happened in many years. The term that sprang to me was change. That night, there was a fire in our city’s streets. That night, the Lord revealed 13 principles for how you and I might walk in our revival as we prepare to enter the world’s biggest awakening.”

It seemed like a wave of strength struck James’ chest, and he began speaking in tongues. He was never the same after that night since one contact with the master altered him forever.
