Kynia Thrower is a healthcare worker providing long-term care to elderly patients around the clock. She has been featured on international health blogs and news outlets for her advice in the healthcare space, and she even has her own website where she shares her experience as a healthcare worker.

Aside from Kynia Thrower’s role during her full-time profession in the healthcare space, she also gets involved with the community and gives back regularly to people in need.

According to Kynia Thrower, it all goes back to her upbringing and her natural tendency to care for others.

“I always knew I loved caring for people. As my grandmother aged, I grew to love caring for her and keeping her company. That’s how I knew I would enjoy caring for the eldery and that I would become a great healthcare worker someday,” says Thrower.

While Kynia Thrower is no stranger to long work hours and demanding weeks, she still finds time to give back to the community in any way that she can.

“If someone isn’t doing well, I feel that we should all come together as a community and help them. My goal is to remind people that community blessings are real and that they can overcome storms, “says Thrower.

Kynia Thrower often purchases and cooks food for the homeless and meets up with a group of friends locally to distribute free clothing to people in need.

“It’s important to me to give back to people who are less fortunate because this is my home and everyone here is my family.”

Kynia Thrower says that she has overcome difficult circumstances and situations in her own life, and this has compelled her to help others overcome their hardships as well. While it is never easy to overcome obstacles in life, it is certainly easier to do it with the help of another person who cares about you.

That is one of the primary lessons that Kynia Thrower took away from the healthcare industry: always care for others.

Kynia Thrower says that healthcare workers are naturally caring people from the start, so this could be one of those factors as to why she is so naturally inclined to help people in need.

Even so, Kynia challenges her audience to do kind things every day, even if they are small. One kind act can go a long way, and once you get started, you’ll learn how fulfilling it can be and want to do more.

“One of the most rewarding things about my career, and my absolute favorite part about working with patients is being able to put a smile on their face.”

Knowing you have made somebody else happy or helped them alleviate difficult circumstances is one of the most important feelings to Kynia Thrower.

If you are looking to get inspired about community involvement, or perhaps you want to follow Kynia’s journey through the healthcare industry, you can visit her personal healthcare website and blog.
