Growing up in Mount Dora, Florida, has sent Herbert Welch on a long journey of self-realization and discovery. As a young boy in the church, he started singing, and over the years, he has started exploring his musical talents by performing at local restaurants, theatres, and public venues. This helped him gain a sense of passion for music, and he began to consider taking music up as a career. One thing that set him apart as an artist was his ability to command people’s attention no matter where he performed. All of these paved the way for him to network and connect with people who gave him the opportunity to travel the world, working with various studios and companies.

Growing into an adult, Herbert Welch is focused on building a brand beyond being just a musician. He grew up in a small town, and for Herbert, he has worked tirelessly to break away from being labeled a “small-town person” into the mainstream entertainment scene. “You choose the life that you live, you can want a different life, you can dream of a life beyond what you have, but unless you work for it, the reality is you won’t ever get it,” he says.

Herbert Welch grew up listening to his parents and teachers tell him how important confidence is. Right after he started to establish himself as a musician, he launched his modeling program at the age of 16, which he named Welch Modeling. His program made confidence its watchword, and he ensured that everyone that signed up for the program gained a great deal of confidence in themselves. He has instilled confidence in many people from that time up until now, and in his words, “All of the time that I try to build confidence in others, I am not just doing it for them but for myself.”

Right now, music is all that takes his attention as he has come to realize the power and sway that music has held on the world over the years. In his words, music can help everyone with a simple beat or line. Music takes the mind and soul where the heart and body cannot. Music is the one way that all can connect.” Herbert Welch’s musical influences include John Legend, Future, TI, Rod Wave, and many others.

Herbert’s journey into music started from using music as a coping mechanism. He kept many things to himself while growing up, and music was one of the things that helped him keep things together. This explains why his music style is all about making a difference in the world and staying positive. He also has a Shopify shop where he sells a phi brand that sends a message of belief and self-confidence to anyone who comes across it. “I am trying to raise awareness for my IEP cold soar, which means you can do anything you set your mind to do. All you have to do is rise above, believe in yourself, and soar,” he says. Herbert believes strongly in helping others grow, and that is what he hopes to do with his brand.
