Now more than ever, social media and the influence of the internet has proven just how powerful it can be when it comes to building a successful brand or business. With the rise of influencers and social media advertising, it’s crucial for people and businesses to leverage the use of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other popular social media platforms. With the industry becoming more lucrative than ever, few have utilized their strong social media presence better than prominent model and singer, Olyria Roy.

Born and raised in Russia, Olyria received a world-class education and originally pursued a career in the field of International Relations. After studying for her two master’s degrees and working in multiple countries, she even secured a position working at the United Nations Secretariat in New York City. Although her impressive yet conventional career in business was clearly off to a successful start, she knew that her true passion and dream career lay in the modeling and music industries. After spending many days contemplating whether or not to pursue her high-risk dreams, Olyria ultimately made the difficult decision to turn down an amazing career at a prestigious firm in order to chase her goals of becoming a model and recording artist.

Olyria’s modeling career began rockier than her career in International Relations, as she was often turned away from jobs due to her curvier figure. Instead of letting this stop her, Olyria decided to take what she learned from these difficult rejections and do things her own way. She hired her own photographer and began posting the finished images to her own social media accounts, particularly on Instagram. Her following grew almost instantaneously, and in just a short period of time, she was able to turn her social media into a personal brand and business that now has more than 2.6 million followers on Instagram alone, and earns a multiple six-figure salary per year.

So how exactly did she do it? According to Olyria, she focused on a simple concept- a global movement that she is deeply passionate about. To her, it’s all about helping other people to realize their beauty and uniqueness. The economics speak for themselves – when she stopped trying to conform to conventional beauty standards and opted instead to blaze her own trail, personal and financial success quickly followed.

Since then, Olyria continues to manage all of her own social media accounts in order to maintain direct control over her business endeavors and finances; however, she also has a team of people helping out behind the scenes and believes that assembling the right team is critical to any business achieving success. According to Olyria, “Experience is important, but not as important as finding people who share your passions, goals, ideas, and who are willing to learn how to do whatever it takes to help you achieve your goals.”

Due to her outstanding success as an entrepreneur, Olyria has made it to a point where she has even turned away business offers or deals that no longer fit with her personal brand identity or her busy schedule. Although she has been fortunate enough to have had a copious amount of success since launching her own social media business, she firmly believes that her greatest successes are still ahead of her.

Olyria Roy has many plans for the near future. She currently has multiple modeling and influencer projects in the works, but she is also planning on releasing a new musical project that will possess a completely different style than what she’s released in the past. Keep an eye out for Olyria Roy in 2021, as she’s definitely going to shake up the modeling and music industries.

We encourage you to follow Olyria Roy on her Instagram and YouTube.
