Now more than ever, it has been extremely inconvenient and difficult to step outside amid the global pandemic. Before everything eased back into normalcy, gyms and other intimately crowded places were closed down, leaving people without any options for staying fit and healthy other than exercising at home. Jon Purkey saw a huge gap in the fitness industry with regards to in-home fitness coaching, so he established his own brand and quickly rose to success.

Jon Purkey has been a personal trainer for 11 years and a full-time physical education teacher for 8. One day in 2016, he finally decided that he wanted to go all-in on personal training, so he worked on it full-time. Eventually, he established Purkey’s Personal Training, a platform that gives people access to high-quality personal training at the comfort of their own homes.

In his countless years of working in the fitness industry, he noticed that there was a great need for personal training without the clients ever having to leave their houses. He aimed to target busy individuals who didn’t have much time to go out or people that were generally more comfortable staying in their own homes.

Purkey’s Personal Training has seen a lot of clients all around the country, and in the near future, Jon Purkey hopes to expand his business to other countries as well. He does all of his virtual training sessions over Zoom or FaceTime. It’s the next best thing to having a fitness trainer beside you. Currently, in-home training is available in Metro Detroit, but he is looking to expand on that area as well.

As an esteemed fitness entrepreneur, Jon Purkey built his own personal training business from the ground up. He provides virtual, in-home, and online fitness training for all people all over the United States. He coaches and builds fitness programs for his clients along with a team of five other trainers that he hired.

The ultimate goal of his business has always been to deliver high-quality personal training to his clients without them having to step foot outside. He’s been ecstatic about his business ever since he established it in 2016. Jon Purkey feels a lot of gratification because he is doing what he loves. He has found a way to combine his passion for fitness and helping other people in such an innovative way, which is an impressive feat, to say the least.

Purkey’s Personal Training is an inclusive brand. Instead of turning down clients, Jon Purkey and his team make sure to accommodate their services to their clients’ situation. For clients that have their own workout equipment at home, they create workout programs that will incorporate their specific equipment based on their fitness needs.

Those who do not have any equipment will have equipment-free workout programs that will still allow them to achieve their fitness goals. Everyone is invited to go on their personal fitness journey with Purkey’s Personal Training. They understand what it takes to get things done, and they know how to do it in order to fully succeed.
