Pursuing one’s passion is everyone’s dream. But sometimes, the road to get there may be a long, winding path filled with other fantastic opportunities. Still, Army veteran and photographer Daniel Tyrone Riddick proves that it’s a journey worth taking.

Daniel Tyrone Riddick is the creative mind behind Daniel Tyrone Photography. The company provides a wide range of services and delivers technical photos of the highest quality and creativity. Daniel has captured memories and beauty with his photography. He is recognized for covering weddings, photographing babies, landscapes, and sports events. The photographer has also taken his lens to capture live concerts and music events in various genres, including R&B, country, and classical music.

Daniel Tyrone Photography believes that a collaboration between the photographer and the client leads to the best results. The brand strives to capture the uniqueness of each client’s preferences and needs. Daniel then formulates ideas and suggestions on how the client’s vision would be translated into reality. “No two projects are ever the same,” said the photographer.

Before founding his brand Daniel Tyrone Photography, Daniel was privileged to serve the country at the age of 22. He joined the military, one of his greatest childhood dreams, and collected unforgettable memories abroad in Iraq. Daniel was deployed overseas as the commander of A Battery 3/133 Field Artillery. “While there, I was honored to receive the Bronze Star Medal,” he shared. The honor is given to soldiers who deserve either heroic achievement, heroic service, meritorious achievement, or meritorious service in a combat zone.

Daniel believes that his experiences while serving in the United States Army equipped him with the discipline that clients see in Daniel Tyrone Photography today. “After 30 years of active and reserve duty, I retired with the rank of major and began a new chapter in the dynamic city of Houston,” shared the veteran. Out of service, Daniel pursued his calling and considered it his new mission to be behind the lens.

Today, through Daniel Tyrone Photography, the Army veteran is continually honing his skills in the craft to serve his clients better. Learning the technicalities of photography is, to him, both exhilarating and humbling. “The art of capturing a meaningful moment in time is simultaneously surreal and sensational,” Daniel said. Building a brand not only ignited his creativity to new heights but also gave him a more profound sense of respect for the art of photography.

In turn, Daniel Tyrone Photography has consistently delivered photos combining Daniel’s creative vision and technical skill. The photographer shared that it is challenging to portray images as each one carries a story to tell. It amazes him how his camera can freeze time altogether and create lasting memorabilia of individual moments. Additionally, Daniel has integrated his motto into his business philosophy: “Photography is my vision for what the world is saying to me; and my gift is sharing it with you.”

The photographer applies the same discipline, integrity, leadership, and quest for perfection through Daniel Tyrone Photography. Trusted by clients for his skills and apparent passion for the craft, Daniel will genuinely continue to grow as a professional. The world is his oyster, a picture waiting to be captured. To him, photography is a never-ending journey of infinite possibilities.
