Cheryl Jacobs is one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the industry today, with ten successful businesses and several side hustles. She has also been published five times on Amazon and speaking on an international level. However, things haven’t always been this way for her.

At the age of 18, Cheryl married her high school sweetheart and together would have two beautiful children a year later. While it may seem like a fairy tale come true, Cheryl was living through a nightmare. Her husband was an abusive alcoholic, and they lived in poverty. Cheryl would go to local churches for cans of beans and baby food to feed her children.

Unsatisfied, Cheryl began to search for a way out for herself and her children. She found a glimmer of hope when a friend told her about a model search. Cheryl took her chances, drove three hours to Columbus, Ohio, and got picked by two agencies in Los Angeles and New York City.

These opportunities landed her a colossal modeling contract that would allow her to leave her husband finally. While things were starting to go her way, tragedy struck, and her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and passed away soon after. Her grandmother followed three months later. Depression sank in for Cheryl as she lost two of the most influential women in her life.

The only thing that kept Cheryl going was her self-belief in being an entrepreneur at heart. Her mother had told her that she was strong enough and smart enough to stand on her own two feet, taking the words to heart everywhere she went.

Cheryl endured and eventually started the first of many businesses, a modeling, and talent agency. Over the years, she would develop more businesses, including a business that provides costumes for children’s parties and a private jet company.

Kids Party Characters, or KPC, was established over ten years ago when her acting agent asked Cheryl to dress up and play Cinderella at a kids’ party. For over a year, she worked and acted as several characters before going out on her own. Initially starting with just 20 costumes, Cheryl now has close to 300 characters, 70+ employees, and franchises booking 20 to 30 parties every weekend.

Her aeronautical company came from her love for aviation. In 2005, she became a private pilot and studied aeronautical engineering. Her idea to start Elite Flight Club started when she heard a well-known author share how he missed important business meetings from flying commercials. The story inspired her to start her own private jet charter company.

Unlike other companies where an admin answers the phone, Cheryl personally answers her clients. She is also the pilot, ensuring all accommodations of the clients are personally met. They have over 14k planes to choose from.

While initially entering her ventures for survival, Cheryl Jacobs now takes the challenge of bringing joy to other people.
