Looking closely around us will let us know many things about many different talented individuals all around the world. To stay unique in the competitive world outside in itself is a talent and when it comes to sports like basketball, one need to have that passion and grit to keep moving forward as a sportsman and prove their mettle to the sporting world. We came across one such youngster who is each passing day making his name more prominent in the world of basketball; he is Kevin Major.

Kevin was born in Harlem, New York and was raised in the Bronx. He grew up with his two sisters and considers his mother his inspiration as she took care of all her kids alone and still never lost hope to raise her children in the best possible manner. The sport of basketball was something Kevin’s heart was always hooked onto. He instantly fell in love with the game and wished to be a part of the same. This motivated him to become a basketball player in school and college and thus began a new chapter in this youngster’s life.

Right now, Kevin Major and Men’s Nittany Lions are all pumped with high energy to make it big in the world of basketball than just winning the games and the awards. Kevin serves as the men’s starting point guard and is regarded as the best in the country, under the training and leadership of coach Leshawn Hammett. The team is already preparing itself for the big nationals in March.

Kevin has played for Billy Gillispie previously, who has been the former head coach at the University of Kentucky and played on big time stages. The youngster has also been a 2-star recruit nationally. His Penn State Wilkes Barre basketball team is all prepared to have a dominating presence the upcoming season.

Due to COVID-19, the season has been although pushed back to January; Kevin told his coach they need a Conference championship and a National championship. He is all excited to outperform every other team at the season and hopes to continue with the game, and this time professionally.

He also says that this season would be dedicated to Leshawn Hammett father Leroy Hammett who passed away due to COVID-19. Mr Leroy was on the coaching staff and it would be unusual for the team to not see him anymore in the first seat of the bench; however, the young basketball player also confesses that every time he enters the gym, he thinks of him, motivating him to the best version of himself.

Indeed, Kevin Major is all prepared to be the best version of himself in the upcoming seasons and become the professional basketball player he wishes to. Follow him on Instagram @_majordanger now to know more.
