Life provides valuable opportunities for everyone to become impactful and influential. In fact, dealing with these opportunities is the most significant aspect that shapes our destiny. Some people end up dwelling on their opportunities and often end up having to learn from their failures, while others pounce on the opportunity and make it big.

Here lies the case of 24-year-old Muslim YouTuber, Mustafa Hussain. Mustafa Hussain falls into the second category where, apart from leaving influence with his YouTube videos, he also encourages his community to do good.

Mustafa is one of the latest emerging YouTube stars within the Muslim community. He is of Pakistani-American descent and currently lives in New York. Mustafa rose to fame for his selfless giving back videos. When asked in an interview what his motive was behind these videos, he said he not only wants to entertain his viewers with interesting and wise subject matter, but also motivate and encourage them to also spread a positive message. This altruistic mindset is what earned him a silver play button for receiving over 100,000 subscribers on the platform.

When I first came across Mustafa’s channel, I was not only shocked by his videos, but also impressed. It is rare to come across a content creator that has the ability to blend a video together so perfectly where the viewer really feels the impact.

This is the reason why The Hershey Company, the multinational company and one of the largest chocolate manufacturers in the world, chose Mustafa Hussain to represent their ‘Heartwarming the World’ campaign. To celebrate the 161st birthday of the founder of Hershey’s, the major chocolate brand decided to create the ‘Heartwarming the World’ campaign to show how Hershey’s chocolate is being used to bring people together. In this campaign, they featured Mustafa Hussain and his best friend Ahmad Atieh in a series of digital videos for their social media platforms and also a national TV commercial representing the company’s message.  This was a big step up for Mustafa and one of his breakthroughs into the mainstream industry.

From paying for people’s groceries and gas, to creating a free clothing store for the homeless, Mustafa Hussain has done it all. When asked what his plans are for the future, he has stated that he is working on new projects and that he does not plan on stopping anytime soon.
