In Portland, Oregon, food trucks continue to be a profitable restaurant business model. The food trucks are serving delicious food in various corners of the city. The food truck industry’s revenue has risen a great deal after 2008 with an annual rate of 12.4 percent.

As the competition is tough the food truck owner requires more strategies to sell their product than just saying that their food is good.

One needs to advertise well, making use of some exciting guerilla marketing ideas so that customers come looking for the food. Start by painting the truck in bright colors or designing them in unique ways, adding elements, shapes according to your liking. The food truck needs to be visible from a distance.

One can also come up with some theme or concept for the truck so that when the truck gets popular it is known by some noticeable element.

Memorable concepts will also attract media coverage. This can impact the sales of the products. If 1,000 customers decide to talk about the food truck with their friends, family, acquaintances they can generate a huge amount of conversation which can eventually translate to sales.

Designing, having a concept around the truck gives it an identity and makes it stand out among the line of food trucks. It talks about the brand and thus having a food truck based on a cohesive design and good brand name serves as a solid strategy to increase sales.

The name and design should create interest about the food truck. The colors should get joy for the customers and attract them to the food. One can use music to support their food truck design so that they sell a complete concept to their customer. A good concept food truck will ensure a line of customers.
