Around 18% of the adult U.S population deals with the problems of anxiety. There are many medicines prescribed by physicians to deal with the situation. But it is not always effective. That is why now, more and more people take an herbal supplement to deal with mental and physical pain.

Mitragyna speciosa, or widely known as kratom, is a tree of the same name. It is popular in Southeast Asia, where it is used to treat various health problems. Kratom does not work like any opoids and is not addictive, whereas it is often used  by people who are trying to withdraw from opioids to relieve the pain.

The FDA & DEA, are not so supportive of the drug and claim it has no medicinal properties. However, people in southeast Asia have been using this plant for hundreds of years. It is used by Asians to treat chronic pain, diarrhea, diabetes, fever, and hypertension.

Kratom has alkaloids like mitragynine, which is recognized for its analgesic properties. That is why it is a huge pain reliever; however, one should follow the proper dosage. Other than this, kratom also acts as a mood booster and causes euphoric feelings, which must not be mistaken for “high.”

Those who have sleeping problems often have fitful sleep, nightmares, and insomnia. Kratom, when taken in high doses, can induce a dreamlike state in the patients and lull them to sleep.

It is also a mood booster and immunity booster. A daily dose of the best kratom can leave the person feeling energetic. It improves the energy level of the body.

People keep using Kratom because it has many benefits. It treats not only physical pain like chronic pain, but it also deals with anxiety.
