While some are enjoying the lockdown and staying at home, some parents are finding it exhausting. Staying with your kid 24/7 can take the energy out of you. However, this is the best time to work on the things for which you did not have time earlier.

Potty training kids can be exhausting. Parents never know whether their child is ready to learn yet. Potty training only becomes effective when the parents are around all the time to guide the little ones when they feel the need.

While finding the time to properly train your child in normal times can be quite a challenge, many of us are suddenly finding a lot of extra time on our hands with many workplaces closed.  That extra time presents a great opportunity to tackle potty training with a program like The Potty Proud Approach, which suggests training children when they are between 20 and 30 months old.

If you want to know whether your kid is ready for potty training, then ask them to sit in a small potty chair in the bathroom. See if it interests them, if it doesn’t, then you must wait a while to start the potty training.

Potty training during social distancing can be effective because parents will be around all the time to guide their kids. They can focus on the training until their kid learns it.

Props for the training may not be readily available like, washable underpants and pull-ups, But training is possible without the props. You can use washable underwear and a small training toilet. It will help with potty training. Parents don’t need anything else for training the kids.

The pandemic is a conducive time to teach the little ones to do it correctly. Parents have sufficient time in their hands. Potty training is all about learning consistently, and parents can be around to ensure that.
