Recently, we got a chance to sit for an interview with him and share some of his insights within his industry.

TheAmericanReporter Team (TT) – Hi Nicholas. Thank you for finding some time to hold this interview with us. Firstly, we would like to know how you developed an interest in the esports industry?
Nicholas – Thank you. It’s been a pleasure to be a part of this conversation. Well, I have had a deep interest in the esports industry since competing in my earlier years. The rise of esports in professional sports appealed to me and I decided to dive in and invest my time within the space. It’s a long process, but my clients and I are patiently working toward expanding during our development.

TT – Our readers are interested to know, how do you define esports?
Nicholas – Well, as per my notion, esports is simply a way for people to compete in the video games they play today. People play different video games (and even sports simulated titles) in an open online or LAN environment with sponsored teams for potential prize winnings.

TT – How is your team at the “Hype Unit” leading the charge in innovating the world of esports entertainment?
Nicholas – My team at the “Hype Unit” consists of highly talented individuals – from marketing to overall technical experts that you’d see in your typical sports organization. They’re always busy exploring trending platforms of entertainment, primarily within gaming to introduce highly interactive content for our audience.

TT – What have you experienced in your journey so far here, especially with your team?
Nicholas – To be frank, I have had a really great time working with all my clients and partners as I have enjoyed every minute of my work with them. I think the journey so far has been mesmerizing and motivating for me.

TT – What can you explain about your big achievements in this journey of sports entertainment till now?
Nicholas – All this has motivated me to work even harder towards our goals by actively collaborating with our industry leaders. There’s so much talent out there that have potential to promote this collaborative effort to become more than mainstream.

TT – Moving towards a general sense now, what do you think is the future of the esports industry in different parts of the world?
Nicholas – In my view, the esports industry is booming like never before and the interest of the non-gamer audience in this industry has been taking it to new heights. This is simply contributing to the rise of esports into professional sports today.

TT – In your view, what is the most important element that works to attract more fans in the esports world?
Nicholas – The most important thing that matters to attract a new audience is engaging content. Interactive content is required to help viewers stay involved and streaming for example, is positioned to create a more personal connection between players and fans.

TT – Well it was very nice talking to you. Is there anything else you would like our readers to know.
Nicholas – Of course Richard, we are taking part in an exciting point of growth in esports entertainment. Brands and sponsors like ours are by far the biggest sources of revenue for every sector in esports, but it’s dependent upon how we as a conglomerate can work together in building our thriving ecosystem to deliver easily accessible, online entertainment to millions of sports fans. It was a great pleasure talking to you and all of your readers. Just keep supporting us at the Hype Unit and thank you to the team at TheAmericanReporter.com for having me.
