She faced the outrage of fans and people around her for her comment in the support of the Hong Kong police. Hong Kong police were in charge to stop the protesters’ violence in the Asian nation. The protesters were against the Hong Kong government’s decision about the extradition of Hong Citizens to mainland China. The protest was so worse that there were many bloody encounters between Hong Kong police and protesters.

According to a news published by Josep Vinaixa, Liu Yifei expressed her direct support to Hong Kong’s police through Weibo, a social media platform and Twitter. She posted, “What a shame for Hong Kong”.

According to the people, Liu Yifei is not perfect for Mulan’s role because she does not belong to the character she is playing in the film. Protesters are also digging up old statements made by Liu Yifei where she expressed her favor for China’s nine-dash line issue.

As the outrage against the actress is increasing day by day, the Mulan remake is expected to be a blockbuster globally.
