Facial recognition technology is proving to be a good source for handling many tasks single-handedly without so much of workforce. It is reducing the human effort to recognize others. Facial recognition technology is working very efficiently and truly in different applications.

Facial recognition software is being used by many land-based casinos in Las Vegas for security purposes. It is working with a video surveillance system to pull an image of a card counter, thief and blacklisted individuals. It grabs the images from the database to find a match and identify the doubtful person. That means the casinos are helping themselves to escort the bad guys to operate smoothly.

Many police departments in every country are relying on facial recognition technology to catch the bad elements. Earlier this technology was restricted to use only for intelligence agencies but now it is widely being used by all the security forces. The security forces are using this technology to identify the enemies among their mates during combat situations because during combat situation, masks and obscene gestures prohibit cameras to take clear shots to identify anyone.

The facial recognition technology is also helping the adult entertainment industry to curb piracy and copyright problems. Viewers can find lookalike faces in adult movies to match the content.

Airports are the first consumers of the facial recognition technology where it is being used on security checkpoints to identify persons staying with expired visas, terrorists, and anybody with sensitive material.

Almost every business is using facial recognition technology to stop unauthorized passage and for taking attendance of employees. Many corporate offices are locking their restricted areas with facial recognition software to stop trespassing.

The facial technology is now partnering with artificial technology to provide the best use of both the technologies in many applications.
